Awesome tune, I knew the sound would be great from hearing what Steve did with other projects as well as Tommy, coupled with what I saw when Enemy performed at The Webster. The sky's the limit.

As the bass player for ENEMY REMAINS, i can only say that I am one of the biggest fans of this band and particularly of this song. "Live For Today" is not just a song so much as it is an anthem! It's one of those songs that makes you pump your fist and say "Fuck Yeah"! So come on every one, Get your "Fuck Yeah" on! :)

You always hear about the sound and style of a band "maturing" or "finding it's direction". E.R., it seems, has already done both, kicking ass and taking no prisoners while they did it. "Live for Today" is more than enough proof. The song shows Enemy Remains' music to be a thinking man's version of...just what, exactly? Metal? Not completely. Enemy apparently isn't about bowing down to the formula that makes a lot of today's Metal difficult to listen to without laughing. Is it Hard Rock? No, not that either, because, ironically, there's way too much of a nice, Metal punch to the sound. Emo, maybe? Hell no! But these guys do seem to have no problem writing lyrics about being grownups when it comes to feeling hurt, having doubts, trying to face the shit that can drag us all down everyday, and staying optimistic about it all. And all of this is accomlished with melody, crunching guitar work, drums that move seamlessly from a solid rhythm to pounding dominance, and bass that'll start in your ears and end
up with your feet stomping the floor. Throw in vocals that are way better than what we're used to hearing and you've got a band that shows they've paid their dues to the Art of good music. They've come out of it with an original sound, what should be a much deserved bright future, and a fucking great song called "Live for Today".
